1 Kings 8:31

When a person is accused of wronging another and is brought to your altar in this Temple to take an oath that he is innocent,

If the thief is not caught, the owner of the house must be brought to God to find out whether or not he took his neighbor's valuables.

Jehovah continued: If you are a witness under oath who refuses to tell what you saw or what you know, you are sinning and will be punished.

The priest will have the woman come forward and stand in Jehovah's presence.

If anyone sins against another person and is required to take an oath and comes to take the oath in front of your altar in this temple,

If I am full I could deny you and say, Who is Jehovah? Or if I am poor and steal, I could take God's name in vain.
