When the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions.

"Moreover concerning the foreigner, who is not of your people Israel, when he shall come from a far country for your great name's sake, and your mighty hand, and your outstretched arm; when they shall come and pray toward this house:

Neither let the foreigner, who has joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, "The LORD will surely separate me from his people"; neither let the eunuch say, "Behold, I am a dry tree."

And when he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him,

And just then a Canaanite woman came out from those borders, and started shouting, saying, "Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David. My daughter is severely demonized."

Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this stranger?"

When the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions.

Moses told his father-in-law all that the LORD had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, all the hardships that had come on them on the way, and how the LORD delivered them.

Now Naaman, captain of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him the LORD had given victory to Syria: he was also a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper.

"Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.

He arose and went; and behold, there was a man from Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was over all her treasure, who had come to Jerusalem to worship.
