Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people: 'This is what Jehovah God of your ancestor David says: I heard your prayer. I saw your tears. Now I will heal you. The day after tomorrow you will go to Jehovah's Temple.

You have heard the desire of humble people, O Jehovah. You encourage them. You incline your ear (pay close attention) to them.

But God has heard me. He paid attention to my prayer.

I love Jehovah because he hears my voice when I pray.

At the beginning of your supplications the commandment went forth. I came to report to you for you are greatly loved. Consider the matter, and understand the vision.

I knew that you always hear me. But because of the crowd that stands here I said it, that they may believe that you did send me.

He said, 'Cornelius, your prayer is heard and your gifts of mercy are noticed in the sight of God.

This is the confidence that we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

I have hallowed

As the priests were leaving the Temple, it was suddenly filled with a cloud.

Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them in six days. He rested on the seventh day. Therefore Jehovah blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

The incense burners of these men who sinned and lost their lives are holy, because they were offered to Jehovah. Hammer them into thin metal sheets to cover the altar. This will be a sign to the Israelites.

Our Father in heaven, holy is your name. (Exodus 6:3) (Psalm 83:18) (Isaiah 42:8; 54:5; 63:16; 64:8)

To put

Watch over this Temple day and night. For this is the place where you have chosen to be worshiped. Hear me when I face this Temple and pray.

You should seek Jehovah at the place Jehovah your God chooses out of all your tribes. This is where he will dwell and establish his name. This is where you should go.

Enjoy yourselves in the presence of Jehovah your God along with your sons, daughters, male and female slaves, the Levites who live in your cities, the foreigners, orphans, and widows who live among you. Enjoy yourselves at the place Jehovah your God will choose as a dwelling for his name.

Mine eyes

Jehovah your God cares about this land. Jehovah watches over it day after day and year by year.

Finally, my God, may your eyes be open and your ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.

My eyes will be open! My ears will pay attention to the prayers offered at this place.

Jehovah has chosen Zion. He wants it for his home.

You have ravished my heart, my sister, and my spouse. You have ravished my heart with one of your eyes, with one chain around your neck.

Jehovah said to me: I would not feel sorry for these people, even if Moses and Samuel were standing in front of me. Send them away from my presence, and let them go.
