to disobeying ones, when once the long-suffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared (in which a few, that is, eight souls were saved through water);
And Jehovah said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, in his erring; he is flesh. Yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.
And Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
By faith Noah, having been warned by God of things not yet seen, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
And Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him.
And He did not spare the old world, but saved Noah the eighth one, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly.
And God said to Noah, The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them. And, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
In this same day, Noah and Shem and Ham and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, entered into the ark.
And the flood was upon the earth forty days. And the waters increased and bore up the ark, and it was lifted up above the earth.
And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle which were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.
And so Jehovah waits to be gracious to you. And therefore He is exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For Jehovah is a God of judgment; blessed are all those who wait for Him.
Because narrow is the gate and constricted is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
But as the days of Noah were, so shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Strive to enter in at the narrow gate. For I say to you, many will seek to enter in and shall not be able.
And as it was in the days of Noah, so it also shall be in the days of the Son of Man.
Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and the forbearance and long-suffering, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?
What if God, willing to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction;
For we are to God a sweet savor of Christ, in those being saved, and in those being lost;
