1 Peter 3:6

like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham, and called him Master. You are true daughters of hers, if you do right and are unafraid.

Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard, and a maid came up to him, and said, "You were with Jesus the Galilean, too!"

Then Peter, filled with the holy Spirit, said to them, "Leaders of the people and members of the council,

But Peter and John answered them, "You must decide whether it is right in the sight of God to obey you instead of him,

nor are they all children of Abraham because they are descended from him, but he was told, "The line of Isaac will be called your descendants."

For the Scripture says that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave-girl, and one by the free woman.

Even if you should suffer for uprightness, you are blessed. But do not be afraid of them, nor be troubled,
