1 Peter 4:2

so that he no longer lives his remaining time in the flesh, to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

Wherefore, laying aside all malice, and all guile and hypocrisies, and envyings, and all evil speaking;

or to governor, as those sent by him for the punishment, indeed, of evil doers; but for the praise of them who do good.

Now the world passes away, and the lust of it; be he who does the will of God, abides forever.
