So Samuel brought all the tribes of Israel near, and the tribe of Benjamin was taken.

So Joshua rose up early in the morning, and brought Israel near by their tribes, and the tribe of Judah was taken.

Therefore Saul said to LORD, the God of Israel, Show the right. And Jonathan and Saul were taken [by lot], but the people escaped.

And having prayed, they said, Thou, Lord, knowing the hearts of all men, show which one of these two thou have chosen
