1 Samuel 11:12

Then the people said to Samuel, "Who were the ones asking, 'Will Saul reign over us?' Hand over those men so we may execute them!"

But some wicked men said, "How can this man save us?" They despised him and did not even bring him a gift. But Saul said nothing about it.

But as for these enemies of mine who did not want me to be their king, bring them here and slaughter them in front of me!'"

You prevail over all your enemies; your power is too great for those who hate you.
