Jonathan Rescued From His Father Saul

³⁶ And Saul said, Let us go down after the Philistines by night and spoil them until the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. And they said, Do whatever seems good unto thee. Then the priest said, Let us draw near unto God here. ³⁷ Saul inquired of God, “Shall I go down after the Philistines? Will You give them into the hand of Israel?” But He did not answer him on that day. ³⁸ Then Saul said, Bring here all the chief of the people and know and see by whom this sin has been this day.
