After whom art thou come out, thou king of Israel? After whom chasest thou? Even after a dead dog, and after a flea!
Then was Abner very wroth for the words of Ishbosheth, and said, "Am I a dog's head, then? Then said Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the king, "Why doth this dead dog curse my lord the king? Let me go and take off the head of him."
And Hazael said, "What is thy servant, which am but a dog, that I should do this great thing?" And Elisha said, "For the LORD hath showed me, that thou shalt be king of Syria."
