David's Successes Arouse Saul's Suspicions

12 Saul was afraid of David, because Jehovah was with David but left Saul. 13 Therefore Saul removed him from his presence and appointed him as his commander of a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people. 14 Jehovah helped David. He and his soldiers always won their battles.
