Timothy my work-fellow, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater my kinsmen, salute you.

For this cause have I sent to you Timothy, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who will bring you into remembrance of my ways which are in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.

Now if Timothy come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.

For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me, and Silvanus, and Timothy, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.

I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother; but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.

If any inquire concerning Titus, he is my partner and fellow-helper concerning you: or our brethren be inquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ.

But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make known to you all things:

But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy shortly to you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.

As ye also learned from Epaphras our dear fellow-servant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They will make known to you all things which are done here.

To establish

To the end he may establish your hearts unblamable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

Confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.

Whom I have sent to you for the same purpose, that ye may know our affairs, and that he may comfort your hearts.

And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;
