A faithful

holding faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and made shipwreck of their faith.

It is a trustworthy saying: if any one aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task.

But to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
