For everything in God's creation is good, and nothing is to be refused, provided it is accepted with thanksgiving;

Keep up the good fight for the faith. Keep your hold on eternal life, to which God called you, when before many witnesses you made the good profession of faith.

For though I do still live the life of a physical human creature, I am not waging this war in accordance with physical human standards,

For our contest is not with human foes alone, but with the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark world; that is, with the spirit-forces of evil challenging us in the heavenly contest.

Take your share of hardships like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
