A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
if anyone is blameless, a husband of one wife, having believing children not in accusation of rioting, or unruly.
1 Timothy 3:10
But let these also first be proved; then let them serve as deacons, being without reproach.
And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the law blameless.
