And they smote all the cities round shout Gerar, for the dread of Yahweh was upon them, - and they plundered all the cities, for, great plunder, was there in them.

Now, these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and there were born to them sons after the flood.

And he said - Nay, but, I, as prince of the host of Yahweh, have, now, come. So Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and worshipped, and said unto him, What is my lord speaking unto his servant?

Forgive, I pray thee, the trespass of thy handmaid, - for Yahweh, will certainly make, for my lord an assured house, for, the battles of Yahweh, is my lord fighting, and, wrong, shall not be found in thee, all thy days;

for, from day to day, there came unto David, to help him, - until it was a great camp, like a camp of God.

Hast not thou, O God, rejected us? and wilt not go forth, O God, with our hosts.
