2 Chronicles 2:1

Now Solomon purposed to build a temple for the name of the LORD, and a royal palace for himself.

1 Kings 5:5

And so I intend to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD said to David my father, 'Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, shall build the house for my name.'

Deuteronomy 12:5

But you shall seek the place that the LORD your God will choose out of all your tribes to put his name and make his habitation there. There you shall go,

Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished his entire house.

1 Kings 8:18

Now the LORD has fulfilled his promise that he made. For I have risen in the place of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and I have built the house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.

As soon as Solomon had finished building the house of the LORDand the king's house and all that Solomon desired to build,
