2 Chronicles 20:10

You can see that the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Edom are attacking us! Those are the nations you would not let our ancestors invade on their way from Egypt. Consequently these nations were not destroyed.

Numbers 20:17-21

Please permit us to pass through your land. We, including our cattle, will not leave the road or go into your fields or vineyards. We will not drink from your wells. We will stay on the main (king's) road until we are out of your territory.'

Deuteronomy 2:4-5
