So He brought against them the military commanders of the king of Assyria. They captured Manasseh with hooks, bound him with bronze shackles, and took him to Babylon.

Now, may my lord the king please hear the words of his servant: If it is the Lord who has incited you against me, then may He accept an offering. Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger—
the staff in their hands is My wrath.

I am Yahweh, and there is no other;
there is no God but Me.
I will strengthen you,
though you do not know Me,

If a ram’s horn is blown in a city,
aren’t people afraid?
If a disaster occurs in a city,
hasn’t the Lord done it?
