Summary

Moreover Amaziah gathered Judah together, and made them captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, according to the houses of their fathers, throughout all Judah and Benjamin: and he numbered them from twenty years old and above, and found them three hundred thousand choice men, able to go forth to war, that could handle spear and shield.

and Moses chose men of ability out of all Israel, and set them to be heads over the people, - rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

and he will appoint for himself, princes of thousands, and princes of fifties, - and to plough his fields, and to reap his harvest, and to make his weapons of war, and the instruments of his chariots;

And David consulted with the rulers of thousands and hundreds, even with every chief ruler.
