⁷ Also they shut up the doors of the porch, and they will put out the lights, and they burnt not incense, and they brought not up the burnt-offering in the holy place to the God of Israel. ⁸ And the wrath of Jehovah will be upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he will give them to disquiet, to astonishment, and to hissing, according to what ye see with your eyes. ⁹ And behold, our fathers fell by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives in captivity for this.
