Summary

Thus the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other, and guided them on every side.

It is he that delivereth me from my cruel enemies, and setteth me up against mine adversaries: thou shalt rid me from the wicked man. {TYNDALE: And delivereth me from mine enemies: thou liftest me up on high from them that rise against me, and deliverest me from the wicked men.}
But the salvation of the righteous cometh of the LORD, who is also their strength in the time of trouble.
Thou that givest victory unto kings, and hast delivered David thy servant from the peril of the sword.
Therefore thus sayeth the LORD God of Hosts, "Thou my people, that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid for the king of the Assyrians: He shall wag his staff at thee, yea and beat thee with the rod, as the Egyptians did sometimes:
For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, "Like as the lion or lion's whelps roareth upon the prey that he hath gotten, and is not afraid though the multitude of shepherds cry out upon him, neither abashed for all the heap of them: So shall the LORD of Hosts come down from the mount Zion, and defend his hill.
For the LORD shall be our captain, the LORD shall be our law giver. The LORD shall be our king, and he himself shall be our Saviour
Nevertheless I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them even through the LORD their God. But I will not deliver them through any bow, sword, battle, horses, or horsemen."

Guided

For this God is our God for ever and ever; he shall be our guide unto death.
O what great troubles and adversities hast thou showed me! And yet didst thou turn and refresh me; yea, and broughtest me from the deep of the earth again.
Thou leadest me with thy counsel, and afterward receivest me unto glory.
The LORD shall ever be thy guide, and satisfy the desire of thine heart, and fill thy bones with marrow. Thou shalt be like a fresh watered garden, and like the fountain of water, that never leaveth running.
Howbeit, when he is once come - I mean the spirit of truth - he will lead you into all truth. He shall not speak of himself: but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will show you things to come.
And the Lord guide your hearts unto the love of God, and patience of Christ.
