1 AND the queen Sheba heard the hearing of Solomon, and she will come to try Solomon with enigmas in Jerusalem, with very weighty power, and camels lifting up spices, and gold, for multitude, and precious stone: and she will come to Solomon and speak with him all which was with her heart.
1 (A)Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to Jerusalem to test Solomon with difficult questions. She had a very large retinue, with camels carrying spices and a large amount of gold and precious stones; and when she came to Solomon, she spoke with him about all that was on her heart.
1 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.
1 The queen of Sheba heard of Solomon’s fame,(A) so she came to test Solomon with difficult questions at Jerusalem with a very large entourage, with camels bearing spices, gold in abundance, and precious stones. She came to Solomon and spoke with him about everything that was on her mind.
1 When the queen of Sheba heard about Solomon's reputation, she traveled to Jerusalem and tested him with difficult questions. She brought along a large retinue, camels laden with spices, and lots of gold and precious stones. Upon her arrival, she spoke with Solomon about everything that was on her mind.
2 And Solomon will announce to her all her words, and not a word was hidden from Solomon which he announced not to her.
2 Solomon (a)answered all her questions; nothing was hidden from Solomon which he did not (b)explain to her.
2 And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from Solomon which he told her not.

3 And the queen of Sheba will see the wisdom of Solomon, and the house which he built,

4 And the food of his table, and the seat of his servants, and the standing of those waiting upon him, and their clothing, and his cup-bearers and their clothing, and his ascent that he went up to the house of Jehovah; and no more spirit was in her.
4 the food at his table, the seating of his servants, the attendance of his ministers and their attire, his cupbearers and their attire, and (c)his stairway by which he went up to the house of the Lord, she was breathless.
4 And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.
4 the food at his table, his servants’ residence, his attendants’ service and their attire, his cupbearers and their attire, and the burnt offerings he offered at the Lord’s temple, it took her breath away.
4 the food set at his table, his servants who waited on him, his ministers in attendance and how they were dressed, his personal staff and how they were dressed, and even his personal stairway by which he went up to the LORD's Temple, she was breathless!
5 And she will say to the king, The word was truth which I heard in my land concerning thy words, and concerning thy wisdom:
5 Then she said to the king, “It was a true report which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom.
5 And she said to the king, It was a true report which I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom:
5 She said to the king, “The report I heard in my own country about your words and about your wisdom is true.
5 "Everything I heard about your wisdom and what you have to say is true!" she gasped,
6 And I believed not their words till when I came, and mine eyes will see: and behold, the half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not announced to me: thou didst add upon the hearing which I heard.
6 Nevertheless I did not believe their reports until I came and my eyes had seen it. And behold, the half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told me. You surpass the report that I heard.
6 Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: for thou exceedest the fame that I heard.
6 But I didn’t believe their reports until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, I was not even told half of your great wisdom! You far exceed the report I heard.
6 "but I didn't believe it at first! But then I came here and I've seen it for myself! It's amazing! I wasn't told half of what's really great about your wisdom. You're far better in person than what the reports have said about you!
7 Happy thy men, and happy thy servants, these standing before thee always, and hearing thy wisdom.
7 How (d)blessed are your men, how (e)blessed are these your servants who stand before you continually and hear your wisdom.
7 Happy are thy men, and happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.
7 How happy are your men.(a)(B) How happy are these servants of yours, who always stand in your presence hearing your wisdom.
7 How blessed are your staff! And how blessed are your employees, who serve you continually and get to listen to your wisdom!
8 Blessed shall be Jehovah thy God who delighted in thee to give thee upon his throne for king to Jehovah thy God: in thy God loving Israel to cause him to stand forever, and he will give thee for king over them to do judgment and justice.
8 Blessed be the Lord your God who delighted in you, (B)setting you on His throne as king for the Lord your God; (C)because your God loved Israel establishing them forever, therefore He made you king over them, to do justice and righteousness.”
8 Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.
8 May the Lord your God be praised! He delighted in you and put you on His throne as king for the Lord your God.(C) Because Your God loved Israel enough to establish them forever, He has set you over them as king to carry out justice and righteousness.”(D)
8 Blessed be the LORD your God, who is delighted with you! He set you in place on his throne to be king for the LORD your God. He made you king over them so you could carry out justice and implement righteousness, because your God loves Israel and intends to establish them forever."
9 And she will give to the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and spices for a multitude greatly, and precious stone: and there was not as that spice which queen Sheba gave to king Solomon.
9 Then she gave the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold and a very great amount of spices and precious stones; there had never been spice like that which the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.
9 And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones: neither was there any such spice as the queen of Sheba gave king Solomon.
9 Then she gave the king four and a half tons(b) of gold, a great quantity of spices, and precious stones. There never were such spices as those the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.
9 Then she gave the king 120 talents of gold, a vast quantity of spices, and precious stones. There were no spices comparable to those that the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.
10 And also the servants of Huram; and the servants of Solomon who brought gold from Ophir, brought almug trees and precious stone.

11 From the algum trees the king made steps for the house of the Lord and for the king’s palace, and lyres and harps for the singers; and none like that was seen before in the land of Judah.
11 And the king made of the algum trees terraces to the house of the LORD, and to the king's palace, and harps and psalteries for singers: and there were none such seen before in the land of Judah.
11 The king made the algum wood into walkways for the Lord’s temple and for the king’s palace and into lyres and harps for the singers. Never before had anything like them been seen in the land of Judah.
11 The king used the algum wood to have steps made for the LORD's Temple and for the royal palace, as well as lyres and harps for the choir, and nothing like that wood had been seen before in the territory of Judah.
12 And king Solomon gave to queen Sheba all her desire which she asked, besides what she brought to the king. And she will turn and go to her land, she and her servants.
12 King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire which she requested besides a return for what she had brought to the king. Then she turned and went to her own land with her servants.
12 And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that which she had brought unto the king. So she turned, and went away to her own land, she and her servants.
12 King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba her every desire, whatever she asked—far more than she had brought the king. Then she, along with her servants, returned to her own country.
12 In return, King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba everything she wanted and requested in addition to what she had brought for the king. Afterward, she returned to her own land, accompanied by her servants.
14 Besides from men reconnoitering and those trafficking, bringing. And all the kings of Arabia and the prefects of the land bringing gold and silver to Solomon.

16 And three hundred shields of beaten sold: three hundred of gold he will bring up upon one shield. And the king will give them into the house of the forest of Lebanon.
16 He made 300 shields of beaten gold, (g)using three hundred shekels of gold on each shield, and the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.

17 And the king will make a great throne of ivory, and he will overlay it with pure gold.

18 Six steps led up to the throne. A golden footstool was attached to the throne, which had armrests on each side of the seat and two lions standing on either side of each armrest.
19 And twelve lions standing there upon the six steps, from hence and from thence. There was not made thus to any kingdom.

20 And all the vessels of drinking of king Solomon, gold; and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon, of shut up gold: no silver was reckoned in the days of Solomon for any thing.
20 All King Solomon’s drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold; silver was not considered (k)valuable in the days of Solomon.
20 And all the drinking vessels of king Solomon were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold: none were of silver; it was not any thing accounted of in the days of Solomon.
20 All of King Solomon’s drinking cups were gold, and all the utensils of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. There was no silver, since it was considered as nothing in Solomon’s time,

21 For the king's ships went to Tarshish with the servants of huram: once to three years will come the ships to Tarshish, lifting up gold and silver and ivory, and apes and peacocks.

23 And all the kings of the earth seeking the face of Solomon to hear his wisdom that God gave in his heart.

31 And Solomon will lie down with his fathers, and they will bury him in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son, will reign in his stead
