2 Corinthians 11:17

What I am saying I am not saying as the Lord would, but as a fool, in this confidence of boasting.

But to the rest I say, not the Lord, that if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to live with him, he must not divorce her.

lest if any Macedonians come with me and find you unprepared, wenot to say anything about you would be ashamed of having been so confident.

I say this by way of concession, not of command.

Now concerning virgins, I have no command of the Lord, but I give my opinion as one who by the Lord's mercy is trustworthy.

Since many boast according to the flesh, I too will boast.
