A Summary Of Jehu's Reign

³⁴ Everything else that Jehu did, including his brave deeds, is recorded in The History of the Kings of Israel. ³⁵ And Jehu slept with his fathers, and they buried him in Samaria. And Jehoahaz his son became king in his place. ³⁶ Jehu had ruled in Samaria as king of Israel for twenty-eight years.

Out of all his army, Jehoahaz had only fifty horsemen and ten carriages and ten thousand footmen. The king of Aram had given them up to destruction, crushing them like dust.
