Bible References

Blasphemy

Harden not your heart, as at Meribah, As in the day of Massah in the wilderness;
while it is said, To-day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

For the children

Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain and crieth out in her pangs; so we have been before thee, O Jehovah.
Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith Jehovah: shall I that cause to bring forth shut the womb ? saith thy God.
The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he is an unwise son; for it is time he should not tarry in the place of the breaking forth of children.
