Jehoshaphat asked: Is there another prophet through whom we can consult Jehovah?

We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet. There is no one who knows how long.

The Lord Jehovah will do nothing without revealing his secrets to his servants the prophets.

That we may

Joram son of Ahab became king of Israel in the eighteenth year of the reign of King Jehoshaphat of Judah. He ruled in Samaria for twelve years.

The men sampled their provisions but did not ask for counsel from Jehovah.

Moses the servant of Jehovah (YHWH) died. After his death Jehovah spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying:

Then Elisha went to his team of bulls, killed them, and cooked the meat. He used the yoke as fuel for the fire. He gave the meat to the people, and they ate it. Then he followed Elijah as his helper.

But you should not be this way. He who is the greater among you let him become as the younger. He that is chief among you is he who serves.

He got up from the meal and laid aside his garments. He wrapped a towel around his waist.
