The prophet Elisha called one of the sons of the prophets and said, “Tuck your mantle under your belt, take this flask of oil with you, and go to Ramoth-gilead.

The power of the Lord

was on Elijah, and he tucked his mantle under his belt and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

Stand, therefore,

with truth like a belt around your waist,
righteousness like armor on your chest,

Therefore, with your minds ready for action,

be serious and set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
