That

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war as the flesh does.

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled; for God will judge the immoral and adulterous.

For certain persons have crept in secretly, those who were long ago marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Despise

But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, 'We do not want this man to reign over us.'

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist have been instituted by God.

Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the supreme authority,

Selfwilled

For the overseer must be blameless as God's steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not violent, not fond of sordid gain,

To speak

And Paul said, "I did not know, brethren, that he was the high priest; for it is written, 'You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your people.'"

Yet in the same way these men in their dreamings defile the flesh, reject authority, and revile the glorious ones.
