So there is no condemnation any more for those who are in union with Christ Jesus.

God has not called us to an unclean life, but to a pure one.

For some people have sneaked in among us??heir doom was foretold long ago??odless persons, who turn the mercy of our God into an excuse for immorality, and disown our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Despise

But his countrymen hated him, and they sent a delegation after him to say, 'We do not want this man made king over us.'

Everyone must obey the authorities that are over him, for no authority can exist without the permission of God; the existing authorities have been established by him,

For as God's overseer a superintendent must be irreproachable, not arrogant or quick-tempered or given to drink or pugnacious or addicted to dishonest gain,

"I did not know, brothers," said Paul, "that he was high priest, for the Scripture says, 'You shall not say anything against any ruler of your people.' "

In that same way these dreamers defile the body, make light of authority, and deride majesty.
