Those who live through (in union with) (because of) Jesus Christ have no condemnation. [They do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.]

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.

Let marriage be honorable among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled: for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.

In the

God gave them up to uncleanness because of the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves.

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither fornicators, nor people who worship idols, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals,

They are past feeling. They have given themselves over to loose conduct, to work all uncleanness with greediness (a lust for more).

For you know this with certainty, that no fornicator, no unclean person, no covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Make your members that are upon the earth dead with regard to fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness (greed), which is idolatry.

For God has not called us to uncleanness, but to holiness.

Certain men crept in unnoticed. They were appointed long ago for this condemnation. These ungodly men turned the grace of our God into loose conduct. They deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Despise

Then Moses sent for Dathan and Abiram, sons of Eliab. But they said: We will not come!

The man who acts presumptuously and does not listen to the priest or the judge will die. This way you will purge the evil from Israel. The priests and judges are there to serve Jehovah your God.

They shall say to the elders of his city: This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious! He will not obey us! He is a glutton and a drunkard.

Some good-for-nothing people asked: How can this man save us? They despised him and would not bring him presents. He did not respond.

A worthless character named Sheba son of Bikri lived at Gilgal. He was of the tribe of Benjamin. He blew the trumpet and called out: Down with David! We will not follow him! Men of Israel, let us go home!

When all Israel realized that the king would not respond to their request, the people in answer said to the king: What share do we have in David? What is our heritage in the son of Jesse? To your tents, O Israel; now see to your people, David. So Israel went away to their tents.

Why do the nations conspire together and rage? Why do the peoples plot in vain?

They say: We will overcome with our tongues. With lips such as ours, who can be our master?

O you people of this generation consider the word of Jehovah! Have I been a wilderness, a land of thick darkness, for Israel? Why do my people say that they are free to wander around and no longer come to me?

His citizens hated him. They sent a spokesman to him saying we do not want this man to rule us.

Let every person be subject to superior authorities. For there is no authority except by God. God allows the authorities to serve in their positions.

Be subject to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it is to the king,

Selfwilled

I will not join in their secret talks. I will not take part in their meetings. They killed people in anger. They crippled bulls for sport.

The overseer must be blameless as God's steward. He must not be self-willed, not prone to anger, not a brawler, and not violent (quarrelsome) (pugnacious), not greedy of dishonest gain.

To speak

Do not curse God. Do not curse a ruler of your people.

Craziness is set in many exalted places, and the rich sit in low places.

Then Paul said, I did not know, brothers, that he was the high priest. It is written: You shall not speak evil of the ruler of your people.

In like manner these men also in their dreams defile the flesh, reject authority and speak evil of glorious ones.
