And David sent and inquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?

They were well-fed, lusty stallions, each neighing for his neighbor's wife.

For with hearts like an oven they approach their intrigue; all night their anger smolders; in the morning it blazes like a flaming fire.

But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.

These were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shobab, Nathan and Solomon, four by Bath-shua, the daughter of Ammiel;

Uriah the Hittite: thirty-seven in all.

And you shall not lie sexually with your neighbor's wife and so make yourself unclean with her.
