2 Samuel 23:2

The Lord's spirit spoke through me; his word was on my tongue.

for no prophecy was ever borne of human impulse; rather, men carried along by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

He said to them, "How then does David by the Spirit call him 'Lord,' saying,

David himself, by the Holy Spirit, said, 'The Lord said to my lord, "Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet."'

For David says about him, 'I saw the Lord always in front of me, for he is at my right hand so that I will not be shaken.

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, "Oh, that today you would listen as he speaks!
