Having heard, they began to leave one by one, starting with the eldest, until only Jesus was left with the woman.

because if our consciences do condemn us, God is greater than our consciences, and He knows everything.

I have sinned

If we confess our sins, He is to be depended on, since He is just, to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from every wrong.

Take away
