2 Samuel 8:17

And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar were the priests, and Seraiah was the scribe.

Ahitub begat Zadok. Zadok begat Ahimaaz.

and Zadok the son of Ahitub and Abimelech the son of Abiathar were the priests, and Shavsha was scribe,

and Zadoc his son, and Ahimaaz his son.

And Zadok the priest with his brethren the priests set he before the tabernacle of the LORD at the hill altar of Gibeon,

And David ordered them on this manner: Zadok of the sons of Eleazar and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar to be in office by course.
