Now we ask you, brothers, regarding the coming of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, and our gathering together to him,
He'll send out his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven."
He'll send out his angels with a loud trumpet blast, and they'll gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to another."
The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor a ruler's staff from between his feet, until the one comes, who owns them both, and to him will belong the allegiance of nations.
All the nations will be assembled in front of him, and he will cull them out, one from another, like a shepherd separates sheep from goats.
I therefore urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercies, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices that are holy and pleasing to God, for this is the reasonable way for you to worship.
to usher in the fullness of the times and to bring together in the Messiah all things in heaven and on earth.
After all, who is our hope, joy, or reason for rejoicing in the presence of our Lord Jesus at his coming? It is you, isn't it?
Then your hearts will be strong, blameless, and holy in the presence of God, who is our Father, when our Lord Jesus appears with all his saints.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so through Jesus God will bring those who have died with him.
