which thou hast prepared before the face of all the peoples;

but is now made manifest, and through the writings of the prophets, by the command of the everlasting God, is made known to all the nations to bring them to obedience to the faith,

having made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in himself

the mystery which hath been hidden for ages and generations, but hath been now revealed to his saints;

but in his own seasons manifested his word through the preaching with which I was intrusted by the commandment of God our Saviour:
