One afternoon, about three o'clock, he had a vision, and distinctly saw an angel of God come into his room and say to him, "Cornelius!"

And his appearance underwent a change in their presence and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as light.

His appearance was like lightning and his clothing was as white as snow.

And when they went into the tomb they saw a young man in a white robe sitting at the right, and they were utterly amazed.

They were in great perplexity over this, when suddenly two men in dazzling clothing stood beside them.

and saw two angels in white sitting where Jesus' body had been, one at his head and one at his feet.

Yet you have a few at Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me clad in white, for they deserve to.

I said to him, "You know, my lord." He said to me, "They are the people who come through the great persecution, who have washed their robes white in the blood of the Lamb.
