So Philip proceeded to tell him the good news about Jesus, beginning from that Scripture.

Then He began to teach them, saying:

Pray also for me, that the message may be given to me when I open my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel.

For the Lord your God is the God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, mighty, and awesome God, showing no partiality and taking no bribe.

Do not deny justice or show partiality to anyone. Do not accept a bribe, for it blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous.

And now, may the terror of the Lord be on you. Watch what you do, for there is no injustice or partiality or taking bribes with the Lord our God.”

God is not partial to princes
and does not favor the rich over the poor,
for they are all the work of His hands.

A psalm of Asaph.God has taken His place in the divine assembly;
He judges among the gods:

They sent their disciples to Him, with the Herodians. “Teacher,” they said, “we know that You are truthful and teach truthfully the way of God. You defer to no one, for You don’t show partiality.

They questioned Him, “Teacher, we know that You speak and teach correctly, and You don’t show partiality,

but teach truthfully the way of God.

There is no favoritism with God.

Now from those recognized as important (what they really were makes no difference to me; God does not show favoritism

)—they added nothing to me.

And masters, treat your slaves the same way, without threatening them, because you know that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with Him.

In Christ there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free; but Christ is all and in all.

haven’t you discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?

And if you address as Father the One who judges impartially based on each one’s work, you are to conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your temporary residence.
