The apostles

When the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard say that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
neither returned to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me: but went my ways into Arabia, and came again unto Damascus.

The gentiles

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, "Of a truth I perceive, that God is not partial:
When they were come and had gathered the congregation together, they rehearsed all that God had done by them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.
And after they were brought on their way by the congregation, they passed over Phoenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles, and they brought great joy unto all the brethren.
The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a ruler from between his legs, until Shiloh come, unto whom the people shall hearken.
All the ends of the world shall remember themselves, and be turned unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the people shall worship before him.
O sing unto the LORD a new song. Sing unto the LORD all the whole earth. {TYNDALE: Sing unto the LORD a new song. Sing unto the LORD all the earth.}
Then shall the Gentiles enquire after the root of Jesse, which shall be set up for a token unto the Gentiles; for his dwelling shall be glorious.
Unto the time that the spirit be poured upon us from above. Then shall the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the plenteous field shall be reckoned for a wood.
But the desert and wilderness shall rejoice, the waste ground shall be glad, and flourish as the lily.
Behold now therefore, this is my servant whom I will keep to myself: mine elect; In whom my soul shall be pacified. I will give him my spirit, that he may show forth judgment and equity among the Gentiles.
"Behold, I have made thee a light, that thou shouldest be salvation, even unto the end of the world. Kings shall see, and rulers shall stand up and shall worship, because of the LORD, which is faithful; and the holy of Israel hath chosen thee.
The LORD will make bare his holy arm, and show it forth in the sight of all the Gentiles, and all the ends of the earth shall see the saving health of our God.
And the heathen shall walk in thy light, and the kings in the brightness that is risen over thee.
Then shall the Gentiles see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory. Thou shalt be named with a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall show.
O LORD, my strength, my power, and refuge in time of trouble! The Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the world, and say, "Verily our fathers have cleaved unto lies, their Idols are but vain and unprofitable.
I will sow them upon earth, for a seed to mine own self, and will have mercy upon her, that was without mercy. And to them which were not my people, I will say, 'Thou art my people.' And he shall say, 'Thou art my God.'"
"At that time will I build again the tabernacle of David, that is fallen down, and hedge up his gaps. And look: what is broken, I shall repair it. Yea, I shall build it again, as it was a fore time,
And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the multitude of people, as the dew of the LORD, and as the drops upon the grass, that tarrieth for no man, and waiteth of nobody.
The LORD shall be grim upon them, and destroy all the goods in the land. And all the Isles of the Heathen shall worship him, every man in his place.
And then will I cleanse the lips of the people, that they may every each one call upon the name of the LORD, and serve him with one shoulder.
And many nations shall cleave unto the LORD at that day and shall be my people. And I will dwell in the middle of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD Sabaoth hath sent me unto thee.
Thus sayeth the LORD of Hosts: There shall yet come people, and the inhabiters of many cities.
For from the rising up of the sun unto the going down of the same, my name is great among the Gentiles. Yea, in every place shall there sacrifice be done, and a clean meat offering offered up unto my name: for my name is great among the Heathen, sayeth the LORD of Hosts.
I say therefore unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall rest with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven;
and they went into the sepulchre, and saw a young man, sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment, and they were abashed.
A light to lighten the gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel."
Wherefore receive ye one another as Christ received us, to the praise of God.
