There were prophets and teachers in the congregation at Antioch. This included: Barnabas, and Simeon called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

With the church

When they had ordained elders in every congregation they prayed with fasting. They commended them to God, on whom they believed.

I send Timothy, my beloved son faithful in the Lord, to you for this purpose. He will remind you of my way of life in Christ, just as I teach it in every congregation.

For first of all, when you come together in the congregation, I hear that there are divisions among you and I partly believe it.

If therefore the whole congregation comes together in one place, and all speak with tongues, and the unlearned, or unbelievers, come there will they not say that you are out of your mind?

Taught

Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Then Agrippa said to Paul: In a short time you would persuade (convince) me to become a Christian.

You will leave your name to my chosen ones as a curse. The Sovereign Lord Jehovah will put you to death, but to his servants he will give another name.

For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many and are one body, so also is Christ.

Every family in heaven and on earth obtains its name from him.

If you are reproached for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.

The anointing (special endowment of Holy Spirit) you received from Him is a part of you (is with you) and you do not need anyone (any human) to teach you. His anointing taught you concerning all things. It is no lie. It is truth, just as you were taught you live through him.

I counsel you to buy gold from me, gold purified by fire, so that you may be rich; and white clothing, so that you may be clothed. In this way the shame of your nakedness will not appear. And anoint your eyes with eye salve, so that you may see.
