and he was seen many days of them, which came with him from Galilee to Jerusalem which are his witnesses unto the people.

And ye are witnesses of these things.

to whom also he showed himself alive, after his passion, by many tokens; appearing unto them forty days, and speaking of the kingdom of God;

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

but ye shall receive power of the holy ghost which shall come on you. And ye shall be witnesses unto me in Jerusalem, and in all Jewry, and in Samaria, and even unto the world's end."

which also said, "Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come, even as ye have seen him go into heaven."

After that, he appeared unto two of them in a strange figure, as they walked and went into the country.

As they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and said unto them, "Peace be with you."

And ye shall bear witness also, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

The same day at night, which was the morrow after the Sabbath day, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled together for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and said to them, "Peace be with you."

After that, Jesus showed himself again at the sea of Tiberias. And on this wise showed he himself:

beginning at the baptism of John unto that same day that he was taken up from us - must one be ordained to bear witness with us of his resurrection."

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

and killed the Lord of life whom God hath raised from death, of the which we are witnesses:

And we are his records as concerning these things: and also the holy ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him."

And we are witnesses of all things which he did in the land of the Jews and at Jerusalem: whom they slew, and hung on tree.

not to all the people, but unto us witnesses chosen before of God, which ate and drank with him, after he arose from death.

and that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve.

how shall we escape if we despise so great salvation? Which at the first began to be preached of the Lord himself, and afterward was confirmed unto us ward, by them that heard it;
