Then the proconsul believed when he saw what had happened, being amazed at the teaching of the Lord.

But while Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews with one accord rose up against Paul and brought him before the judgment seat,

So then, if Demetrius and the craftsmen who are with him have a complaint against any man, the courts are in session and

mind of the prudent acquires knowledge,

And the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.

Whoever is wise, let him understand these things;

Whoever is discerning, let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right,
And the righteous will walk in them,
But transgressors will stumble in them.

But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good;
