if we are examined today on a good work for an infirm man, by what this one has been healed,

In these lay a great multitude of those who were sick, of blind, lame, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.

And a certain man, who was lame from his mother's womb, was being carried. And they laid him daily at that temple gate which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered into the temple.
