When they heard about it, they praised God and told him, "You see, brother, how many tens of thousands of believers there are among the Jews, and all of them are zealous for the Law.

However, false brothers were secretly brought in. They slipped in to spy on the freedom we have in the Messiah Jesus so that they might enslave us.

The brethren

They wrote this letter for them to deliver: "From: The apostles and the elders, your brothers To: Their gentile brothers in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia.

But some believers from the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, "The gentiles must be circumcised and ordered to keep the Law of Moses."

How blessed is the person whose sins the Lord will never charge against him!"

The Messiah has set us free so that we may enjoy the benefits of freedom. So keep on standing firm in it, and stop putting yourselves under the yoke of slavery again.

Beware of the dogs! Beware of the evil workers! Beware of the mutilators!

See to it that no one enslaves you through philosophy and empty deceit according to human tradition, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to the Messiah,

On the eighth day, the flesh of the baby's foreskin is to be circumcised.

Moses gave you circumcision not that it is from Moses, but from the Patriarchs and so you circumcise a man on the Sabbath.

Greetings. We have heard that some men, coming from us without instructions from us, have said things to trouble you and have unsettled you.

Was anyone circumcised when he was called? He should not try to change that. Was anyone uncircumcised when he was called? He should not get circumcised.

for in union with the Messiah Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision matters. What matters is faith expressed through love.

Why, not even those who are circumcised obey the Law! They simply want you to be circumcised so that they can boast about your external appearance.
