Festus, therefore, having come to the province, after three days went up to Jerusalem from Caesarea;

but, taking leave of them, and saying, "I will return to you again, God willing," he sailed from Ephesus;

And the report concerning them came to the ears of the assembly which was in Jerusalem; and they sent forth Barnabas as far as Antioch;

And, having come to Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the assembly and apostles and elders; and they rehearsed as many things as God wrought with them.

And, when we came to Jerusalem, the brethren gladly received us.

Those, therefore, who were dispersed by reason of the tribulation that arose about Stephen, traveled as far as Phoenicia, and Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word to none but Jews only.

Now there were in Antioch, in the assembly which was there, prophets and teachers; both Barnabas and Symeon who is called Niger, and Lucius the Cyrenean, and Manaen, the foster-brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

and thence they sailed to Antioch, whence they had been committed to the grace of God for the work which they accomplished.
