It was while Apollos was in Corinth that Paul, after passing through the interior, reached Ephesus. Finding some disciples there,
After this he left Athens and went to Corinth.
What I mean is this, that one of you says, "I am a follower of Paul," another, "And I, of Apollos," another, "And I, of Cephas," and another, "And I, of Christ!"
As for our brother Apollos, I have often urged him to visit you with the other brothers, and he is quite unwilling to come now, but he will come when he has a good opportunity.
When they reached Ephesus he left them there. He went to the synagogue there and had a discussion with the Jews.
After spending some time there, he started out again, and traveled systematically through Galatia and Phrygia, reassuring all the disciples.
For when one man says, "I am a follower of Paul," and another, "I am a follower of Apollos," are you not simply human?
