Acts 19:18

Many also of those who had believed were coming, confessing, and declaring their practices.

and they were being immersed by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.

for with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
