Acts 19:37

For you have brought these men here who are not temple robbers or blasphemers of our goddess.

You who say, “You must not commit adultery”—do you commit adultery? You who detest idols, do you rob their temples?

while Paul made the defense that, “Neither against the Jewish law, nor against the temple, nor against Caesar have I sinned at all.”

Give no offense to the Jews or the Greeks or the church of God,

We give no opportunity for stumbling to anyone, so that the ministry will not be blamed.
