But God will rescue my life from the power of Sheol; certainly he will pull me to safety. (Selah)
For you will extend your great loyal love to me, and will deliver my life from the depths of Sheol.
The ropes of death tightened around me, the snares of Sheol confronted me. I was confronted with trouble and sorrow.
And in hell, as he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far off with Lazarus at his side.

Thine

But you rejected the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a man who was a murderer be released to you.
"For indeed both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, assembled together in this city against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed,

"Ha! Leave us alone, Jesus the Nazarene! Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are -- the Holy One of God."
Nevertheless you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know.
"To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write the following: "This is the solemn pronouncement of the Holy One, the True One, who holds the key of David, who opens doors no one can shut, and shuts doors no one can open:

To see

David by foreseeing this spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that he was neither abandoned to Hades, nor did his body experience decay.
